Top Teams Sweep As Season Hits The One-Third Mark


South Glens Falls - Fire And Ice rolled over the Pepins 4-0 Thursday to maintain their slim one-point lead in the Forever Young league at Kingpin's Alley after five weeks of play. Floyd Butler finished strong with a 248 to accompany 187 and 192 for 627, pacing the assault for the winners (17-3).

Long-Short (16-4) kept in range with a sweep of the Over The Hill Gang. The Tomahawks had a rough second game which led to a split against North & South. Don Williams shot 213-190-221 for 624 in the Tommies' draw.

Chuck Boykin was the player of the day with 666 on games of 246, 256 and 164 as the Galway Guys beat the Marauders 3-1.

Wyman Swinton had 200-201-195 for 596 but Leftover got spanked by the Yanks 4-0 behind Mark Basso's fine 205-536. Paul Pribis started with 230-194 for 555 as Pribis out-classed Twisted Sisters 3-1 despite Ellen Marcantonio's 202-512.
