Fire And Ice Gain Separation, Now Up By Four
Williams, Swinton, Butler, Boykin Register 600s


South Glens Falls - Fire And Ice (20-4) added three points to their league lead Thursday afternoon at Kingpin's Alley with a 3-1 triumph over North & South. Floyd Butler paced the comeback win with 162-233-224 for 619.

Long-Short was swept by the Pepins but held onto second place at 16-8. The Tomahawks were beaten 3-1 by the Marauders, their first actual match loss of the season - but remained in third (14-10). Don Williams threw another monster series, 683 on games of 213, 225 and 245 for the losers.

Wyman Swinton shot 224-256-192 for 672 as Leftover skunked the Galway Guys. Chuck Boykin had the circuit's other 600 with 182-217-211 for 610 in a losing effort.

Note:The league welcomed two new additions, Team Adirondack composed of Elaine and Bob Hughes and Boston Strong Balls, former champs - with Patrick Scanlan and Tracy Clemmons aboard.
